class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>For Peppery Greens Salad Base<\/em><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">3-4 Medium size radishes, thinly sliced<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">1 \u00bd cup of green beans, cut on the diagonal into \u00bd inch pieces<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">1 cups of lacinto kale, shredded<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bd cup of shaved Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">1 cup of radicchio, chopped into \u00bd inch pieces<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">3 Persian cucumbers sliced into \u00bd inch coins<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bc cup of dill fronds<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bd cup of romaine hearts, chopped into \u00bd inch pieces<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">1 cup ice cubes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">1 tablespoon salt<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">4 cups water<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>For Lemony Lime Vinaigrette<\/em><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bd shallot<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">2 clove of garlic<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">3 tablespoons olive oil<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bc teaspoon ground black pepper<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bc teaspoon of preserved lemon*, finely chopped<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">2 tablespoons of lime juice<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">2 tablespoons of lemon juice<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bd teaspoon of lemon zest<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Finely chop your shallot and set aside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Grate garlic and add to shallots.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Zest your lemon to get \u00bd teaspoon of lemon zest. Add this to your garlic shallot mixture and squeeze in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Squeeze 2 tablespoons of lime juice into the shallot mixture <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Add 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar to shallot mixture and let the flavors marinate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Remove the strings of your green beans and cut them into \u00bd inch pieces on the diagonal.   <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Prepare an ice bath and place 1 tablespoon of salt and place cut green beans for at 6 to 7 minutes. This will help them get crisp and absorb some salt for flavor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">While the shallot mixture marinates and the green beans take an ice bath, cut the lacinto kale, radicchio, cucumbers, romaine lettuce,dill fronds and shave your Parmesan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Drain the green beans and pat them dry, arrange chopped vegetables and cheese in salad bowl.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Stream in olive oil to shallot mixture and whisk. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Add lemon preserves and black pepper.
